An Inspirational Story For All Youth Hockey Players !!!!!

About 3 years ago I started teaching a skinny little kid the fundamentals of being a goaltender. I never would've imagined he would come so far in such a short time. I always say "when you love the game you will always excel in your heart and mind, which will always carry over into your skill set" . You just have to have the determination and drive to do it. Well determination and drive are this kids middle names now as he's found out what it took to win by learning how to lose first and now with all that determination and drive he's worked himself on to a starting role for a men's division tournament team at the age of 16.

I am very proud of you Declan Hilliard, your desire to be the best you can be on a daily basis will carry you far. Keep up the hard work and great attitude kiddo,sky's the limit. - Coach Travis Hernandez
